3rd Trimester

Merry Christmas from rainy San Diego! Ha! Yes, you heard right..RAIN! We are actually having "winter" weather this December in So Cal. I am just greatful we don't live where the temperature is in the single digits. I like cold weather and am loving every minute of this- but there is a difference between cold and freezing. I'm not into freezing!

We are in our 3rd trimester already! Wowweeeeee! Only 12ish weeks until we meet miss Sloane Pressley! It's amazing to me that we only have 12 weeks to go. I have my 29 week appointment next week and we will get to see this little princess in 4D. Ummm...let's hope she is still a girl! Tee hee!

Overall I am feeling pretty good! I have moments of ickyness but nothing to complain about. She is a little dancer and is moving constantly which I love. Lane is going to be wrapped around her little finger.....

23 Weeks

Here we are in week 23! Holy toledo, time is flying. Our little girl is moving around a lot and I can feel her little heels when she digs them into the bottom of my belly. It's so neat! Hunter spent so much time in my ribs with his little butt sticking out that this is so different! I am not complaining one bit!

My next doctor appointment is on Friday November 28th. Thanks a lot doc...you want to weight me the day after Thanksgiving? What is up with that? Tee hee! Guess its a good way to control myself. At my 19w visit I was up 6 lbs which is great- but I fear what this appointment has in store. Dang Holidays and all of the yummy food!!!

Most of you have been asking about her name and yes we have picked one out! I better check with Lane before I go posting it for the world to see, but we hope you all love it as much as we do. I promise that I will post some ultrasound pics soon. Our scanner has been down, but I will try to get it working this weekend!

It's A....

GIRL!!!! The tech said she is measuring right on time and appears to be very healthy!! She is definitely smalled than Hunter was at almost 20 weeks. We are so excited and nervous at the same time. Thank goodness she will have her big brother to look out for her!!

Look out world, there is going to be one pretty lady joining us very soon!

Time is flying

18 weeks! Woah, where did the time go? We are just one week away from the big ultrasound. If this little one cooperates, we will find out if it's a boy or a girl! We are so so so excited. I bet this week will feel like the longest week in history...ok, maybe not...but close!

I am still tired but am feeling much better! Thank goodness. Round the clock nausea is not fun! Am just looking forward to this upcoming appointment and then the holiday season will be upon us. Ahhhh...my favorite time of year!

Please keep us in your prayers for this upcoming appointment/ultrasound. The most important thing is that this baby is healthy!!!

So sick of feeling sick...lol!

I definitely thought I would be feeling so much better by now, but the sick feeling is still lingering. The past week has felt like 1st trimester all over again. At least I know the baby is doing well, but man, I am ready to feel GOOD! No, GREAT! LOL!

We are only 4 weeks away from the big ultrasound. Let's hope this little one cooperates! If not, it will be a surprise until March!! I am starting to feel like I know what the gender is...but will keep it to myself until I know if I am right!!!!!

Doctor appointment

We had our doctor appointment today! Wee One is 13w5d and getting big! Look at that looooong leg! WOW! The entire time this little one was kicking and waving and dancing around. It was so much fun. Hunter was amazed! He couldn't stop staring. Lane and I both tried to see if we could tell if it's a boy or a girl...but no such luck! If s/he decides to cooperate, we will find out on October 27th! That's only about 5 1/2 weeks from now....woah!

Besides the fun ultrasound, everything else went great. All of our screening tests came back negative, which is awesome. I somehow have manged to only gain .9, so almost a pound! Pretty impressive for almost 14 weeks if I do say so myself.

I have the day off today so Hunter and I are going to get out of the house for awhile. Will update again soon!

2nd Trimester

Well, here we are! We will "officially" be in our second trimester on Monday. Seriously, that went by really fast which makes me nervous! When I was pregnant with Hunter, time seemed to pass so slowly...not this time. Overall, I am feeling a lot better. I still have my barfy moments, but not near as bad as it was, thank goodness. My belly is starting to pop. If you ask Hunter where the baby is, he pats my tummy...too cute!

Next doctor appointment is a week from today with another ultrasound-so more pictures to follow soon!

10 weeks

Well, we have officially made it to 10 weeks! I am definitely ready to start feeling better and it just hasn't happened yet. I'll have a few days of feeling pretty good and then- BAM!- back to feeling icky. I am not complaining since it's a good sign, I am just ready for food to sound good again!

The doppler is being broken in nicely, hehehe! Last night this little one was playing hide and seek which I did not find funny...at all! Heartbeat is still ranging between 170-175 which is nice and strong.

I am ready for second trimester to get here...just a few short weeks away!!!

Doppler & Heartbeat!!!

So, the Doppler arrived today!!! Lane gave me the pep talk on remembering that it's still early and not to panic if we don't hear anything. I thought to myself, maybe we should wait, but that thought lasted about .5 seconds! How on earth could I not try immediately? HELLO! Hehehe! Anyways, we busted the Doppler out and....WE IMMEDIATELY HEARD A GOOD, STRONG HEARTBEAT!!! WOHOOOO! Our little one's hear rate ranged between 170-175! Music to our ears!

We will record it the next time we check and see if we can post it here. Holy toledo, we are even more excited!!! At 9 weeks 4 days we got to hear our baby's heart beating away! Yahooo!!!

9 weeks today

We have made it to the 9 week mark! Only a few more weeks to go and we will be in our second trimester! Exciting! You know us...well actually...you know me....the doppler has been ordered. It's due to arrive next week so you know there will be a post as soon as it gets here. My mom clearly remembers the doppler with Hunter so it's highly likely we'll have some good stories this time around too!

For some reason, the barfy feeling seems to be getting worse, not better. No complaints about that, every little symptom is a great sign!! Its hard to love food one day and totally dislike it the next!

We continue to pray everyday that this little one is healthy and that this pregnancy is blessed.

First appointment!

First appointment, August 11th, 2008 at 4:10 p.m..............................................

We have a heartbeat! Wooohoooo!! Our wee one was measuring right on at 8 weeks and 3 days and that little heart was pumping away. What an amazing little miracle! We have a due date of
March 20, 2009.

Next appointment is September 17th at 9:00 a.m. The big ultrasound will be at the end of October. We have a feeling that time is really going to fly this time. Everything is becoming so much more real! Hunter is going to be a big brother! Yippeee!!

Please continue to pray for this little one. We are not out of the woods yet, but doc says this baby is coming home!

Sharing News

On Friday we shared our great news with Grammie, Grampie, Mimi and Pops. They are sworn to secrecy until our first appointment! So, when we finally share this page with everyone, know that they held this news in and it was not easy!

We are less than 2 weeks away until the big appointment. So far this pregnancy has been so much different. I have felt much more sick this time and most food does not sound appetizing. I am exhausted and wish I could get a nap in during the day. For the most part I think I am just nervous! Lane and I continue to pray that this pregnancy will be healthy!

On a funny note, we are trying to teach Hunter to say "baby" and point to my tummy, but he'd rather say "all done." Close enough!

Hunter is going to be a big brother!

We are so excited to announce that Hunter is going to be a BIG BROTHER! Yep, you read it right! On July 10, 2008 we got a positive home pregnancy test. Of course, we couldn't just test once, so we tested again June 11th and the line was even darker! Yipppeeeeee!!!

My first doctor appointment and ultrasound is scheduled for Monday August 11th at 4:10 p.m. Please pray that this pregnancy is healthy and that we will see a little beating heart that day. With our history we are nervous but have faith in the lord that this little bitty is here to stay!!!
